Is checking my eligibility a soft check?

Yes. Checking your eligibility on Hazel is a soft pre-check that gives you an indicative decision. A full credit assessment only happens later, when you complete your formal application with our Lending Partner.

What if I'm not eligible yet?

If you're not eligible right now, you'll be told immediately and can leave your email to be notified as eligibility expands. There's no penalty.

Can I pay off my plan early?

Yes. You can settle your plan early at any time through your account, and settling early reduces what you repay overall. An early-settlement fee may apply, per the terms of our Lending Partner, Mashreq Bank.

What happens if I miss a payment?

If a payment is missed, our Lending Partner will contact you to arrange it. Your clinic is unaffected. They've already been paid in full.

Can I have more than one Hazel plan?

Yes. You can hold more than one active Hazel plan at a time, subject to approval by our Lending Partner.

Do I need a bank account already?

No. If you don't already have an account with our Lending Partner, one is opened automatically as part of your application, with nothing extra for you to do.

What currency are repayments in?

All financing and repayments are in UAE dirhams, collected automatically by auto-debit on your chosen date.

What if a customer misses a repayment?

That is entirely between the customer and our Lending Partner. Your clinic has already been paid in full and carries no repayment risk whatsoever.

Is there a minimum procedure value?

Yes, a minimum financing amount applies. Most specialist procedures qualify comfortably, and our team confirms the threshold during onboarding.

Do we need special hardware or software?

No. The application runs on your phone or any device with a browser. There's no install, no integration requirement and no new hardware to buy.

How do customers apply, on our device or theirs?

Either works. Most clinics let customers apply from their phone, and a customer can also apply on their own phone while on site.

Can we offer Hazel to all customers?

Yes. You can present Hazel to any customer. The credit decision is then made automatically by our Lending Partner, so you simply offer the option to everyone.
